Ever since I was young, I've taken a liking to art and started drawing at a young age; thus stirred the beginnings of an aspiring artist. It was to my surprise that I didn't end up pursing that passion as my major. Rather, I'm currently attending Victor Valley College to obtain my Associate's Degree in Math and Science, as well as my certificate for Computer Science. I'm majoring in Computer Information Systems and will continue courses here until I meet the required units to transfer to University. Our world is important ( we live here after all ) and I often find myself staring out the window to admire all that make up our home. To see the trees bristle in the wind and the ferocity of our ocean as you go further out to sea; it's astonishing, all of it. I'm taking this class to further expand my knowledge on one of the most mysterious parts of  our Earth - the ocean. I fear and love it and I know I'll find fulfillment taking this course. I've always lived in the high desert and had a very sheltered life growing up. I suppose this is what inspires curiosity and I often juggle with existential thoughts. It being the main source of our survival, of course I would be drawn to the ocean; it's beauty aside. Though my major has become a keen interest - as I actually enjoy coding more than I would have thought - I still keep my passion for art alive by practicing whenever I can steal a moment: painting, digital art, traditional art. I submerge myself in music and, with my tastes being widely varied, often draw inspiration from my collection, if not the imagery in my head.
